Help us spread the word!

Help over 77,000 (including 11,200 children) people in Arizona living with the challenges of epilepsy.

On November 5, 2023 the Epilepsy Foundation Arizona will be hosting a first of its kind Signature Fundraising Event in Arizona, the Epilep-TEA Party, to bring more local awareness to epilepsy. We appreciate our partners helping to raise awareness for epilepsy alongside 100% of event proceeds support programs, client services, advocacy, including, but not limited to:

  • Camp Candlelight - Our camp program provides a safe and secure camping experience for children and teens. Campers gain a greater understanding of their own diagnosis and treatment, develop peer-to-peer support, increase independence and self-confidence, discover new skills and interests, and develop the skills they need to be leaders, advocates and champions in their everyday lives. For many young people, attending camp candlelight with other kids who have epilepsy can change their lives.
  • Seizure Training & Education - The Epilepsy Foundation provides community-based training and education for those that work with people impacted by epilepsy.   There are more than 77,000 people, including 11,200 children, with epilepsy in Arizona - and this training keeps them safe and supported in their local communities.
  • Advocacy- The Epilepsy Foundation advocates for those in our community who need a voice - at the local, state, and federal levels. We inform and educate elected officials with information to needed to draft legislation that will improve the lives of people with epilepsy and their families.
  • Information and Referral Services - The Epilepsy & Seizures 24/7 Helpline has trained information specialists standing by to answer your questions about epilepsy and seizures and provide you with help, hope, support, guidance, and access to national and local resources.
  • SUDEP and Bereavement Support - The Epilepsy Foundation provides accurate information and compassionate support is provided for families who have lost a loved one to SUDEP and other epilepsy related deaths.
  • Research and Innovation - The Epilepsy Foundation supports funding and policies that promote research and innovation into better understanding of the epilepsies and into developing new treatments and devices.
